Wedding Shoot: Perri and Garrett

Last weekend on a damp and drizzly Saturday we made our way over to Ringwood just on the edge of the New Forest for the wedding of Perri and Garrett. The ceremony didn’t start until late in the afternoon and after a morning staring at the sky, cursing an inaccurate and weather man we made sure to pack our lovely bridal umbrellas.

Perri and Garrett’s wedding was a very cosy, intimate affair at the St Leonard’s Hotel. It was really obvious that their family, friends and most of all, their children were very important to them.

The afternoon started with me popping up to the Bridal Suite for some bridal prep shots. Friends were helping Perri with her make-up and hair, whilst the bridesmaid and Bride’s mum helped finalise the small details and get the children ready.

Perri had one bridesmaid, Fi and her daughter Ellie acted as Flower Girl for the day.

Ellie was a perfect model, suggesting good poses. It all got quite Zoolander at one stage 🙂

Downstairs Ian met up with Garrett and ‘the boys’ for a few pre-ceremony shots.

Just a few finishing touches whilst everyone packed into the ceremony room…

Perri and Garrett did warn us there may be an extra little helper during the ceremony…

So happy!

Every time I managed to capture Perri and Fi they seemed to be having such a laugh…

The whole of the wedding party braved the drizzly weather so we could take some family shots. It wasn’t really that bad luckily… See, these guys even managed to ditch the brollies…

And cue the rain. There was nothing to do but settle down in the reception room and tuck into the buffet. And on that note, we left everyone to enjoy their night!

Posted with thanks and congratulations to Mr and Mrs Grant

Wonderful! The joy of the day really comes through, and I love the moment you captured of the finishing touches – Perri’s eyes say it all!

Great job, I love the black and white of the bride laughing towards the end, and the one of her putting her lipstick on. The rounded corners look great!

You’ve produced a cracking set of long term visual memories for your couple here. Sunshine on a rainy day indeed! I particularly enjoy feeling part of the party with your frame within a frame technique, and the ring exchange shots; you got so inside the very special moment there!

I want to order some prints to make my own album. Can you tell me please how much each print would cost or is there a brides mum type album where I can select the prints I want and how much.
