We first met Steph five years ago when we photographed her sister Natalie’s wedding to Justin in Bournemouth. Since then, Natalie and Justin are now parents to two little girls and Steph and Quentin have had their own wedding to plan.
It was lovely to be asked to join their family again for Steph and Quentin’s wedding at Milton Abbey School in Blandford Forum, Dorset.
The entire day was spent between the school and the Abbey and guests travelled from far and wide to celebrate their day with them. Much of Quentin’s family travelled from South Africa which gave inspiration for African wildlife table themes and Biltong appetisers.
The big Milton Abbas street fair was taking place on the same day as the wedding; which meant a little bit of extra thought had to be put into the morning travel.
To keep things easy Steph and her bridesmaids got ready at the school. This was probably for the best as Steph’s Dad and his beautiful car went on a little pre-wedding adventure when it accidentally drank diesel rather than petrol. Luckily, after a bit of quick thinking and even more luck the car made it to the Abbey in time to whisk Steph around to the ceremony.
Thanks again for everything, for the frame, the beautiful album, and of course capturing our day with such stunning shots! We are so pleased you agreed to photograph our day, and now have incredible photos to remember it forever! We were both so nervous beforehand but the day was so perfect and we loved every minute.
