Dom and Mikey got married last week at the delightful Green House Hotel in Bournemouth. I met the girls at the hotel where they’d stayed the night before, getting ready in a room upstairs. Things were super chilled and organised when I arrived with a little conveyor belt of girls getting their hair and make up done.
Meanwhile, Ian met up with Mikey and the boys (including Lloydy the cat – who’s featured in morning preps on our blog twice!) at their home.
It was a bit of drizzly and windy day, so unfortunately, we didn’t get to play on the beach. But after such a beautiful evening we spent with them for their prep shoot that would’ve been too jammy.

We were back in the centre of Bournemouth for Laura and David’s Wedding with our first visit to St Andrew’s Church, tucked behind Bournemouth Square. Photos started just before the ceremony and we were there to meet with David when he arrived at the church, along with his junior Best Man, shortly followed by the Ushers.
We didn’t really know what to expect when it came to Laura’s dress and she wowed us with her lacy details.
A highlight during the ceremony was the explanation by the vicar that he was going to present them with the candles they lit during the service. That way, in a year’s time, when they have their first anniversary they can have a romantic candlelit dinner for two with those very same candles! Why can’t all vicars be that thoughtful?
After a few group shots at the church we whisked off to The Green House Hotel. It was our first wedding at this pretty little boutique hotel, although we actually spent the afternoon on the lawn rather than inside as Laura and David had hired a marquee for the reception.
