Hannah and Tom’s Wedding at Manor Farm, Somerset

Hannah and Tom’s wedding took place on their family Dairy farm in Emborough, Somerset. Well, technically, their wedding was held in the (now retired) The Blessed Virgin Mary church, but you could be forgiven for thinking this was in the farm. It’s so close to the farm house you could invite the vicar in for tea by shouting out of the window.

Having sought special permission to hold their ceremony in the church, the marquee was set up at the front of the farm house, packed full of beautiful flowers and was carefully put together by the co-ordinator for the day, Steph from Sweet and Pretty.

This was followed by a ceremony in the Purple Room at the Town Hall and onto a winter Pimms drinks reception back at Home House with dinner and dancing.

It was fantastic seeing everything come together for this day as we’d played a part in the preparations in more ways than one. Ian had helped Laura and Nick with both the invitations for the day and the table name cards too with his Swash and Fold hat on. And my sister drew the illustrations of Laura and Nick which featured as part of the decorations too. It made us feel all warm and fuzzy when we saw how they’d been lovingly put up on the winter wonderland tree, complete with London Christmas baubles.… Read Full Post
