Caroline and James’ wedding was a real treat, full of lots of personal details and a very friendly and energetic crowd. There was an awful lot of dancing and singing during this wedding and we were impressed by everyone’s stamina!
Oh.. before we carry on, a special mention should be made to James’ Mum who grew all the flowers for this wedding at home, by seed and made all the bouquets and buttonholes. We were blown away by her amazing garden and floristry skills.
Their ceremony took place in James’ home town, Milborne Port in Somerset at Milborne Port Parish Church. It was a service full of music with a worship band filling the church with sound and enthusiastic sing-a-longs.
After this everyone made their way over to the Dorset border to Stockbridge Farm Barn for the wedding reception.
Guests were treated to a Fish & Chip supper for the wedding breakfast (which went down exceptional well.. who doesn’t love fish and chips?) eaten from personalised trays. And for afters guests were encourage to take part in a Bake Off. There was so much cake of all different shapes, sizes and flavours and enough to fed everyone five times over!
To work off all those sponges and chips there was an excellent, fun Ceilidh dance in the evening, with music provided by local folk band Teasing the Cat.
For a bit of a dance break once the sun had dropped everyone had some fun with sparklers around the fire pit before heading back into the barn for the First Dance and disco.
They are truly beautiful. We know this is your job and you do this all the time but please never forget how valued you are. These photos will last us our entire lives and it’s so clear we chose the right photographers. Not just the photos, but your presence on the day was perfect.
