After what seemed like a lengthy winter (mostly spent carrying a hot water bottle) the first signs of Spring were very welcome and the daffodils cropping up reminded us that Sarah and Adam’s wedding (our first of 2015) was not far away.
Embracing the vibrant colours of Spring, with a bright yellow and blue colour palette, Sarah and Adam made the most of their March wedding at Priston Mill near Bath. It was warm enough to play outside, and despite the early weather forecast warning of Gales and heavy rain, the day was lovely.
Things started near Bath City Centre where both Sarah and Adam got ready about a half hour drive from the venue for their day.
The day had a travel theme as plenty of guests had travelled a fair way to help them celebrate. As well as a great table plan, Adam’s brother designed some fantastic paper details including table names, Save the Dates and invitations.
We’ve been to Priston Mill a couple of times now and have always regretted not being able to make it over the the adjoining field that sits next to the Tythe Barn. Unfortunately, there’s not really any way of making it over there without crossing a Brook.… Read Full Post
Jonathan and Claire got married at Priston Mill with their ceremony and reception held in the Tythe Barn.
The day started with both of them getting ready close to the city centre of Bath. Claire and her Bridesmaids in particular had a perfect view from high on a hill as they got ready in the lovely Bath View Apartments.
Throughout the day VWs played a special part as Claire loves them. As well as a camper van driving the bridal party from Bath to Priston Mill, Jonathan also made his way to the Barn in a convertible Beetle.

Hannah and Mark got married recently with a full day held at the Tythe Barn at Priston Mill, near Bath. Hannah got ready in the morning at a lovely cottage on Withy Mills Farm surrounding by fields and cows. Whilst Mark got ready at a nearby Pub and made his way to the Mill in a Defender Land Rover – which, as it turns out, couldn’t have been a better choice of transport.
The weather wasn’t kind with some very heavy rain making things a little tricky in the morning. Hannah’s Vintage VW almost went for a swim down a flooded country lane. However, with some nifty diversions and the cool, calm and collected manner of the ace LoveDub Weddings things soon got back on track. Unfortunately, it was a bit too damp to do many shots outside for the majority of the day but the cosy and spacious interiors of Priston Mill and a roaring fire helped things considerably.
They embraced the Autumn feel of their wedding with plenty of lovely orange, red and peach blooms and rustic wooden details, including one of the loveliest table seating plans we’ve seen.
Here are some photos from their day…
