Emma and Tom came down from Warwickshire to celebrate their marriage at a place they love – Studland in Dorset.
Emma got ready at The Haven Hotel in Sandbanks, a spot often travelled to on her childhood holidays. I don’t think you could argue the fact The Haven has the best views from its balconies in the whole of Poole Harbour – made even better by the fact, if you looked very carefully, you could spot the distinctive shape of a white tent on the distant cliffs – their wedding marquee at Harry Warren House.
After preps at the hotel the bridal party had a momentous journey over to the Purbecks on the Sandbanks Ferry where Emma got a surprise announcement from the captain and a round of applause from all the cars and passengers.
Waiting over in Studland, Tom got ready at The Bankes Arms, a hop and skip away from St Nicholas Church where their ceremony took place.
Afterwards, all the guests walked to the reception at Harry Warren House for the party. The rain came in for the rest of the day, but it was no bother. The marquee was big, beautiful and stuffed full of home brews, cakes and macarons.
As well as a welcome visit from the Fish and Chip van, the evening entertainment was provided by The Daggers. As always, they put on a blinding show and got the tent jumping. Here are some photos from the day:
We’ve just sat down with a glass of wine each and thoroughly enjoyed looking back over our day – we absolutely LOVE them! You captured so many brilliant moments! THANK YOU!!
