Helen & Thomas’ Wedding at St Nicholas Church, Studland – Part One

It was Helen and Thomas’ wedding day last weekend and we couldn’t have hoped for a better day to be on a clifftop overlooking the sea. It was glorious.

The ceremony was in the morning so it was an early start for all as there were full bridal preparations to get done first in Bournemouth, before we all made our way over. Helen and Thomas were kind enough to drop round a survival pack a couple of days before so we knew we could keep our energies topped up with chocolates, coffee and jelly sweets – thanks guys!

The groomsmen also had their fun getting ready at the Haven Hotel in Sandbanks. Although this mostly seemed to involve tormenting Lobsters.

It’s a little bit of a trek from Bournemouth to St Nicholas Church in Studland but we made it in good time. The boys wriggled their way onto the Sandbanks Ferry whilst the bridal party went the “long way round” in a very pretty Morris Minor and Jaguar MK2. They caused a little bit of a stir as they drove through the towns and villages along the way.

St Nicholas Church is a small and intimate church that has a good atmosphere when it’s filled with family and friends. There were some nice moments throughout the ceremony, including a choir-led sing-a-long to “All You Need Is Love”.

Here are the photos up until the end of the ceremony. You can see more in Part Two.

    Dear Emma and Ian

These photos are simply fantastic. Thank you so much for all your hard work. Everyone had an amazing time. We don’t have a time machine to enable us to re-live the whole wonderful happy occasion. But your photographs are truely awesome and will help make this an unforgetable day for Helen and Thomas.

We are so grateful. Thank you again. Richard and Christine Alexander

Such a fun day and you have managed to get everything in there – all the laughs and the emotions and the little details that made the day so special. Awesome to work with you and to help make this day so special for Helen and Thomas and the family – well done x

Fantastic photo’s throughout. It is of particular interest to me , to see the views that we do not get to see at the time, like the arrival of the bridal party, and the faces of the bride and groom whilst making their vows. Really top notch. Many thanks.

What wonderful pictures of my beautiful grand daughter and her husband at their wedding. Their happiness is so obvioous and the whole genre of the Church and Service is truly delightful. Thank you.
