Following on from Part One…
After a summer-like BBQ (thank you for letting us help ourselves, Helen and Dan!) everyone settled down for the speeches. A couple of highlights included a surprise letter to the newlyweds from Prince William as well as off-the-cuff speech from the bride, thanks to a bit of jeering from the supportive crowd.
The light was magical as we took a stroll around the grounds for a short couple shoot whilst the guests finished off their coffees, and we finished this with a bouquet toss in the walled garden. Sadly, none of the single ladies managed to grab the bouquet mid-air but two lucky girls walked away with the scooped up flowers and the odd rogue petal.
Shortly after this it was time for the cutting of the cake. This added another beautifully understated and stylish element to the day. Baked by Cakes by Suzanne this three-tier had lace-like icing decoration and was topped with silver H and D initials.
Finally, the evening sprung into life with a disco. Here we enjoyed snapping up some enthusiastic dancing and some quite spectacular and energetic star jumping. A good night was had by all.
Posted with thanks and congratulations to Helen and Dan! x
We just can’t thank you both enough for capturing our day so beautifully. You can tell with every part of the process, from our first meeting to our engagement shoot and wedding shots, you love what you do… it really shows!
